The Outlander PHEV is four-wheel drive and has 2 electric motors of 60 kW each and a 2.0 liter petrol engine. The power depends on the drive mode and is controlled automatically.
In PURE EV Mode, the battery supplies 82 HP to the 2 electric motors.
In Series Hybrid Mode the generator delivers an additional 95 HP. A total of 163 HP is available.
In Parallel Hybrid Motor, the petrol engine delivers 121 HP directly to the wheels in combination with 82 HP to the electric motors. A total of 203 HP is available.
