BMW M760Li xDrive
The most prestigious top model of the 7 Series is the BMW M760Li xDrive and we had the pleasure of testing it in this video. In this 7-Series we find only the best of the best. A V12 with sublime performance in combination with an exceptionally refined finish and innovative technology that appeals to the imagination.
V12
In the M760Li xDrive we find a very cool M Performance TwinPower Turbo V12-cylinder petrol engine. This colossus has a capacity of no less than 6,592 cc and an impressive power of no less than 610 hp. The maximum torque is over 800 Nm. With this block, the M760Li can only deliver impressive performance figures. For example, the sprint to 100 km/h takes just 3.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h and with the optional Driver’s Package the M760Li xDrive even goes up to 305 km/h. In terms of transmission, this limousine with supercar allure has intelligent four-wheel drive (xDrive) that is mainly focused on the rear wheels. Shifting is extremely smooth with the 8-speed Steptronic sports gearbox, which also uses navigation data to choose the optimal gear. You can park all that beauty in your driveway from a budget of 173,950 euros.
A drive in the sporty M760Li feels buttery smooth, contrary to what you might expect from a car with such performance. No stiff, bone-hard suspension. On the contrary. The Executive Drive Pro suspension system offers a high level of driving comfort and the active lateral stabilizers keep body movements to a minimum. Steering is also extremely comfortable with the help of Integral Active Steering. This system provides a more direct steering transmission to the front axle and also adjusts the steering angle of the rear wheels to the driving situation. This means, for example, that less steering force is required at low speeds, so you can park with your little finger, so to speak.
Sports exhaust
The new M760Li also features a new M sports exhaust system. This consists of 2 double galvanized exhaust pipes in Cerium Gray and is one of the characteristic style elements of the M Performance look. The valve control system lends a deep emotional color to the V12’s soundtrack. In Sport Mode, the sporty character of the V12 is emphasized and, in our opinion, it sounds the best.

Technological miracle
The M760Li xDrive, like other models in the 7 Series range, is equipped with numerous advanced driver assistance systems. For example, our test car was equipped with the Remote Control Parking function (see demo in video). This allows the driver to remotely park the car forwards or backwards into a parking space. This can be done using the BMW Display Key. For remote parking, the limousine must be positioned head-on in the center and directly in front of a parking space or garage. The car steers and brakes independently or stops automatically if, for example, it detects an obstacle. When leaving a parking space, the car drives straight backwards independently, but it no longer steers.
With the Driving Assistant Plus you can drive autonomously to a large extent thanks to the Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function and the steering and lane guidance assistance. The Active Cruise Control maintains the set speed up to 210 km/h and the distance to the vehicle in front. Within that same speed range, the steering and guidance assistance will support steering. Even in slow-moving traffic and in traffic jams, the car maintains the set distance by braking and accelerating independently. You can take your hands off the wheel for a few seconds, but if you do so for too long, the system will prompt the driver to put their hands back on the wheel.

Sporty Styling
Compared to the other models of the 7 Series, this M760Li xDrive obviously looks a lot sportier. For example, it received an M aerodynamics package that includes larger air intakes in the front apron and 20″ double-spoke 760 M rims in a matte Cerium Gray finish. The Cerium Gray finish can also be found on exterior elements such as the radiator grille, the strip on the front apron, the strips on the exterior handles, the mirror housing, the Air Breathers, the decorative elements on the side doors and the handle of the boot lid. In combination with the color of our test car “special request Frozen Dark Brown” (see photos), this gave our 7 Series a very sporty look. You can also recognize the M760Li xDrive by the V12 logo on the C-pillars. If you prefer a more discreet look, the “Excellence” is optionally available. This style variant looks more subtle and less sporty by omitting the M aerodynamics package, among other things.
Conclusion
The BMW M760Li xDrive is the best you can currently find in the car world. An engine that gives this limousine the performance of a supercar. An interior with a refined level of finish that offers the occupants the comfort of a luxury hotel. All this is bathed in an atmosphere of technological innovation with numerous driver assistance systems that already allow a high degree of autonomous driving.
